New Apple Watch bands compatibility
The Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop is compatible with Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 4 or later, while the Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop is compatible with Apple Watch Series 3 or later.
Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop design
The Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop includes the rainbow colours with those drawn from various Pride flags and in addition to that includes Black and Brown threads to symbolise Black and Latinx communities. The Blue, Pink and White threads are said to represent transgender and nonbinary individuals, according to the company.
Apple claims that the band is made of stretchable recycled yarn interwoven with silicon threads and will be available in 12 different lengths.
Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop design
This band showcases six colours of the original rainbow and is made of reflective yarn to make it more breathable.
Apple Watch Pride faces
The new watch face is said to mirror the colours of the Braided Solo Loop band. With the rotation of the Digital Crown, the threads on the watch face infinitely scroll and animate with a raise of the wrist, said Apple.
The 2021 Pride watch face will be rolled out as part of a software update.
